The Lava glaze is a reactive composition of raw ingredients that create a volcanic-like surface texture formed during the high firing process — the bubbles and craters hardened as the kiln cools, capturing a moment in time. Charcoal offers a deep, grounding matte tone that anchors any table setting with quiet authority. Salt Lake is our study in luminosity — a pale, mineral-washed finish that recalls the bleached stillness of a dried lake bed at first light. Together, the three glazes form a conversation between earth, ash and water.
